Officially setup since January 2014, AB Imports have been running imports from Sicily for much longer. Having spotted a gap in the Maltese market, the group behind AB Imports have been importing items, for themselves, family members and close friends, from Sicily for a number of years. Having established numerous contacts both in Sicily and in Malta, the group saw an opportunity to offer their services to the Maltese public. An Office and Shop is now open in Malta in order to facilitate the process for local clients to see the products and discuss individual clients’ needs.

It all started as a hobby, or weekend project if you will. Having realised how cheaper branded items are in Sicily, I started importing them for myself, my family and close friends. In the matter of no time, I was establishing great contacts and getting even better deals and prices for genuine products. By the time the products arrive in Malta, there are so many middlemen taking a cut and driving the prices up that it was cheaper for me to go buy the products myself! AB Imports plans to pass on this great value to the local market
